MidWestOne Business mobile banking is now available

September 7th, 2017 Renee Smith-LaBarge

Business banking with MidWestOne just got easier! Our new Business Mobile Banking App is now available for download. It’s simple, easy to use and comes with an array of features that makes managing your money convenient and more efficient.

As a business owner, you know convenience is key when it comes to handling your finances. With MidWestOne’s Business Mobile Banking app, you’re able to conveniently manage bank accounts on your mobile device. This app enables you to:

  • Check your account balances,
  • Review recent account activity,
  • Access Business Bill Pay,
  • Initiate and approve transfers,
  • View images of cleared checks, and
  • Access Mobile Deposit.

Along with convenience, efficiency is equally important when handling the finances of your business.  This app allows you to become more efficient, because you’ll no longer have to sit down at your computer to check your MidWestOne Bank business account balances, submit payroll and/or wire transfers. Instead, you can manage and remain in control of your finances while you are on the go.

Enhanced security

The protection of your information is invaluable! Because of that, we went to great lengths to make sure the new Business Mobile Banking app protects your data and is safe to use.

In addition, this app has tools that help you do your part in preventing fraud and promoting cybersecurity. For example, the capacity to perform dual control practices from your mobile device.

Dual control requires external transfers submitted online—such as ACH or wire requests— to be approved by someone other than the person originating the request. This not only protects your business from potential losses, if a user’s account is hacked, but also prevents internal fraud by keeping you aware of money transfer activity taking place on your account.

Many of our business customers cite being out of the office frequently as a reason they are unable to adopt dual control practices for online activities. Through MidWestOne’s Business Mobile Banking app, you can now eliminate this obstacle. You’ll receive a notification whenever a transaction is waiting your approval and you can approve it right from your mobile device.

Getting started

In order to use the MidWestOne Mobile Banking Business app, you must be enrolled in Business Online Cash Manager (Business OCM).

If you already have a Business OCM username and password, simply go to the iTunes or Google Play store and search the term “MidWestOne for Business” to download the app and get started (data rates may apply). If you use a security token to login to Business OCM, follow the same process to log in via the app.

To review more details about the new app and see frequently asked questions, download this Business Mobile Banking Quick Reference Guide.

If you have questions about this app, please don’t hesitate to contact your local business banker. We’re happy to help.
